The symposium is intended to provide an international forum to address a wide range of issues. Also included will be sessions on the scientific and technology drivers involved in re-establishing a prescence on the Moon. An equal weight is given to wider considerations such as commercial opportunities, the prospects for international cooperation in lunar missions and the ways in which public support for these activities can be encouraged.
