    Report for Period 22 June to 28 June 2008

    The reporting period was the first complete week of nominal science operations after the solar conjunction phase.

    At the end of the last Cebreros pass in the reporting period (DOY 180) Venus Express was orbiting Venus at 257.8 million km from the Earth. The one-way signal travel time was 860 seconds.

    The instrument was regularly operated as part of the routine plan.

    PFS
    The instrument was not operated during the reporting period.

    SPICAV
    The instrument was regularly operated as part of the routine plan.

    No observations were made during the reporting period.

    VIRTIS
    The instrument was regularly operated as part of the routine plan.

    VMC
    The instrument was regularly operated as part of the routine plan.

    Future Milestones

    • Beginning of pericentre lowering operation, scheduled for 13 July 2008
    • Organise an S-band carrier power test after solar conjunction
