The scientific programme, encompassing all the major areas of astronomy executed in the UK, consists of plenary lectures by invited guest speakers and parallel and poster sessions on more specialist topics. In addition, there are lunch-time meetings, exhibitions, a conference dinner and a special session at which the 2011 award winners will be given their prizes
